Easter Island (Isla de Pascua in Spanish or Rapa Nui in Rapa Nui) is a small island in the Pacific Ocean and one of the most remote inhabited locations in the world. It is legally part of Chile.
Rapa Nui is the indigenous language spoken by nearly all of the population. Spanish is also widely spoken and understood by almost everyone on the island. Other languages including English are common as well because it is a popular destination for tourism.
